AutomationDirect has added new Quabbin communication cables, providing even more options for reliable Ethernet and Profinet communication.

New continuous flexing 26AWG Cat5e or Cat6/6a shielded industrial Ethernet cable is available with two or four twisted pairs. Cable jacket options include Zero Halogen Flame Retardant (ZHFR), Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Elastomer (FR-TPE), and Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). This cable can be ordered cut to length in 1-foot increments with a 20 or 25ft. minimum depending on style, and starts at $1.23/ft.

Unshielded 24AWG Cat5e flexible industrial Ethernet cable with four twisted pairs is now available and is rated for outdoor use, is resistant to sun and rain, and has additional flame resistance. This cable can be ordered cut to length in 1-foot increments with a 20 or 25ft. minimum depending on style, and is priced at $0.66/ft.

Continuous flexing Profinet cable is now available in a shielded, PLTC-2PR rated, Cat5e 22AWG size with two twisted pairs, a TPE jacket, and support for Profinet Type B and C communication. Quabbin communication cable can be ordered cut to length in 1-foot increments with a 20ft. minimum, and is priced at $1.42/ft.
