The PCMM2G programmable controller / multi-axis master delivers industry-leading performance and flexible support for both Kollmorgen and third-party systems. Full-featured and simple to use, this compact, multi-axis motion controller scales easily to handle everything from small, simple machine modules to large, highly complex automation environments.

High Performance

PCMM2G – The Next-Generation Programmable Motion Controller

The PCMM2G uses a 1.5 GHz quad core processor to deliver 1.5–3.5 times faster fieldbus cycle rate compared to previous-generation motion-control hardware for industrial machines. And this compact motion controller includes all the memory, connectivity and features you’re likely to need for any application, large or small.

  • One scalable motion controller hardware platform for everything from small, simple machine modules to large, high-complexity automation environments.
  • Up to 64 axes of synchronized path motion, including S-curve and other complex moves.
  • 16 GB of internal flash memory.
  • 6 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs.
  • Integral human-machine interface.

In capabilities and versatility, PCMM2G is designed to be the one programmable motion controller you need for practically any industrial application.

Seamless Integration

PCMM2G – The Next-Generation Programmable Motion Controller

The PCMM2G motion controller is a native component of the Kollmorgen Automation Suite, and it’s also designed to support all major industry standards — enabling quick, straightforward integration with most third-party automation systems.

  • 100BASE-T connection supporting UDP, HTTP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP and PROFINET for fast integration with most systems.
  • Dual Ethernet ports to allow system configuration while connected to an industrial network.
  • Integrated tools for simple, rapid network configuration, servo tuning and machine optimization.
  • Simplified inventory for modular or scalable machines.
  • Reduced setup time, consolidated software and single-source ordering when using the full Kollmorgen Automation Suite.

For existing systems that incorporate Kollmorgen’s PDMM or PCMM controller, the PCMM2G motion controller offers a simple upgrade path. And all customers — whether they use Kollmorgen solutions or third-party components — can count on full migration and operational support.

Simple Usability
