Clever Circuit Design That Requires Minimal Space in the Control Cabinet

The four-level terminal blocks with Push-in Technology enable the space-saving installation of terminal strips.

The use of multi-level terminal blocks offers huge potential savings when it comes to the space required in the control cabinet. The new and particularly compact PT 2,5-4L four-level terminal block series with Push-in Technology from Phoenix Contact is a space-saving solution for mounting terminal strips.

With a width of just 5.2 mm, the product family includes feed-through, disconnect, and knife-disconnect terminal blocks as well as various function versions that enable the compact integration of function plugs and components. With a nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm² and a nominal current of 24 A at a nominal voltage of 800 V, the terminal blocks cover a wide range of applications.

The tool-free direct-connection technology saves time during conductor connection, while the compact design enables efficient wiring in confined spaces. Due to the spring construction, the terminal blocks provide high conductor pull-out forces and the function slots on each level ensure a high degree of flexibility. They enable both vertical and horizontal potential distribution and the accommodation of various test accessories.

In addition, the terminal blocks are equipped with large marking areas, allowing the individual levels to be marked separately and providing an optimal overview. The new four-level terminal blocks are part of the Clipline complete terminal block system and are therefore compatible with standardized accessories from Phoenix Contact, which reduces logistics costs.
