PULS becomes a major provider of DC UPS systems with the acquisition of Adelsystem

PULS acquires DC-UPS specialist Adelsystem

PULS has acquired the Italian DC UPS specialist Adelsystem, significantly expanding its range of DIN rail power supplies. The new products are a perfectly complementary addition to PULS’s existing DC UPS offerings. With their all-in-one design and extensive communication capabilities via various bus systems, these products support a wide range of applications.

This acquisition reflects the strategic focus of the PULS Group on further strengthening its technological and market leadership in industrial DC power supplies. Adelsystem’s innovative all-in-one solutions open new opportunities for scalable system solutions in demanding applications. Particularly relevant are infrastructure projects such as energy supply, renewable energy, water and wastewater management, and telecommunications, where Adelsystem already has extensive experience. These synergies position the PULS Group as the preferred partner for companies relying on reliable and future-proof power supply systems.

Through strategically targeted acquisitions, the PULS Group drives sustainable growth and technological innovation. Following the acquisition of Wiferion in 2023, a specialist in wireless charging for autonomous robots, Adelsystem now enhances the portfolio specifically in the field of uninterruptible power supply. These well-considered M&A activities consistently prioritize customer benefit as a core objective and underline the company’s ability to actively shape markets and strengthen its position as a leading provider of innovative power supply solutions.

The initial phase of integration will focus on mutual product distribution within both organisations. In parallel, synergies in research and development, procurement, logistics, and production will be explored. In the long term, Adelsystem is set to be integrated as a competence centre for DC UPS systems within the PULS Group. Together, PULS’s power supplies and Adelsystem’s DC UPS solutions form a comprehensive offering, enabling complex problem-solving from a single source.

Through this acquisition, we are combining our expertise and expanding our capabilities to meet even the most demanding customer requirements in areas such as infrastructure, energy, and telecommunications. This partnership marks another step in strengthening the PULS Group as a leading provider of future-proof DC power supply systems.”

“The merger with the PULS Group is an excellent opportunity to combine our technological expertise in DC UPS systems with PULS’s innovation and global presence,” explains Stefano Artoni, CEO of Adelsystem, and adds: “Together, we can further develop our products and solutions, while accessing new markets to better meet the growing demand for reliable and scalable power supply systems. I am confident that this partnership will deliver immense benefits to our customers and partners worldwide.”
