Festo Canada Adds Electrozad as a Full-Line Distributor for Southwestern Ontario

November 26, 2020

In May of 2020, Festo Canada was pleased to announce Electrozad, the largest independently owned electrical distributor in southwestern Ontario, as its full-line exclusive sales, support and service partner covering the region from London to Windsor and Sarnia.

Electrozad is featuring Festo’s pneumatic, electrical and process automation products, including the always-in-stock Core Product Range of drives, cylinders, valves, tubing, fittings and much more.

“The Festo line of products fills an important need for Electrozad in further extending our ability to provide complete automation solutions for our customers,” says William Smith, President, Electrozad. “Festo is a Rockwell Automation encompass partner which compliments the latter’s flagship Allen-Bradley brand in Electrozad’s trading area. We look forward to the value this Festo partnership will bring to our customers when combined with the service and technical expertise they expect from Electrozad.”

“By leveraging Festo expertise, Electrozad is better equipped to deliver end to end client solutions, positioning customers towards the future of manufacturing.”

All five Electrozad offices will have full-line stock of Festo components for overnight or even same-day delivery, which is key for supporting automation systems in the region’s growth markets, like automotive parts manufacturing, greenhouse production as well as local process industries like petrochemical and pharmaceuticals.

Electrozad has 65 years of experience in the area, and like Festo, has a wealth of customer relationships there that both sides can leverage. It prides itself on employing specialists with expertise in controls and HMI, power and motion, sensors and more.

“With their advanced knowledge of the southwestern Ontario market and go-to-market strategy, we regard Electrozad and Festo working together as a great partnership with enormous potential,” says Jack Cabral, Festo Canada’s sales manager for Central Canada. “There is a solid foundation in the region on which to build – including great customer familiarity with the Festo brand. We are really looking forward to growing together with Electrozad in the coming years!”
