Engineered to Outrun

October 31, 2024

Industries are the beating heart of the modern world. And today, for ABB’s customers in every industry – from energy to building, transport, manufacturing and more – to run their business is no longer enough. They need to meet higher targets, be more sustainable, and manage transitions. They need to outperform. Or as ABB says – they need to outrun.

As a global technology leader in electrification and automation, ABB is helping the world’s industries run at high performance; while becoming more efficient, productive, and sustainable so they can outperform. At ABB, they call this ‘Engineered to Outrun’.

Engineered to Outrun

ABB began the phased opening of their new $100 million campus in Wisconsin.

The new facility strengthens our localized supply chains, and keeps ABB close to their customers. It will increase U.S. production capacity of industrial electric drives and service to fully meet Build America Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.

The highly automated production facility will be complemented by a digital Customer Experience Center and an Innovation Lab to better serve customers in the United States.

With building design features such as solar power, advanced building controls, geothermal heat pump and modern HVAC systems, the new facility will help us meet their 2030 sustainability goals.
