GE’s New Proficy Orchestration Hub is Industry-First Solution to Unify Manufacturing Product Data Management Across the Enterprise

GE Digital recently announced its newest addition to the Proficy Software portfolio, Proficy Orchestration Hub. This new software solution provides out-of-the-box tools to unify manufacturing product information from disparate data systems, transforms and organizes raw business-oriented information into production-ready formats, and orchestrates the information across factory floor systems at a single site or multiple sites. Proficy Orchestration Hub allows manufacturers to stay in sync with constant updates to manufacturing product data to provide higher quality and throughput. It can enable faster time to market with accurate product data based on unified information mapping data from different systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) into Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

K78 Series Non-Isolated DC/DC Switching Regulator from Mornsun

Mornsun’s K78 series is a high-efficiency switching regulator with the packages of SiP (system in package), SMD, or DFN, and the efficiency is up to 96%. They are designed as a pin-compatible replacement for LM78 linear regulators without any heatsink. K78 series offers excellent performance and advantages – such as high efficiency, wide input voltage range, and highly accurate output voltage. An automated production factory can guarantee quality and reliability at a low cost. Such a perfect solution makes designing a switching regulator circuit redundant. The regulated output K78-R4 series released has undergone a fundamental change in dimension and packaging which is manufactured via the chiplet SiP process, and the appearance of R4 has changed from simple and rough to refinement.

Littelfuse Offers Compact Cartridge Fuses Available with High-Current, High-Voltage Ratings

Littelfuse, Inc., a global manufacturer of leading technologies in circuit protection, power control, and sensing, recently announced the compact cartridge fuse series available that’s rated at 500Vac/Vdc with current ratings from 40A to 63A and a 10,000A interrupting rating. The 607 Series high-current, high-voltage cartridge fuse, designed for overcurrent protection applications, provides a robust solution for demanding high-voltage power supply circuits. The 500V fuse rating is suitable for both AC and DC inputs. With a 10mm x 32mm cartridge body, a single 607 fuse requires less board space than previous designs that used multiple lower current rated fuses in parallel. As a result, designers can reduce the board space they reserve for protection components when designing high wattage equipment.

TDK Corporation (TSE:6762) presents the new B78416A* series of compact EPCOS transformers with EP 6 cores for ultrasonic applications. The series comprises five types with transformation ratios between 1:1:8.42 and 1:1:15. Depending on the type, the new SMD-version transformers offer inductance values between 3 mH and 5 mH and are suitable for frequencies between 52 kHz and 300 kHz. The components are compliant with AEC-Q200, feature highly compact dimensions of just 9.0 x 7.6 x 7.1 mm and are magnetically shielded for better interference suppression. The permissible temperature range lies between -40 °C and +125 °C.

Ideal for industrial, building automation, IoT, and other high-power electronics applications that require fast turn-on speeds. The CPC1596 is an optically isolated MOSFET Gate Driver that requires no external power supply. It regulates an input voltage up to 570V to 12.2V for internal use. It is specifically designed for low-duty-cycle switching and low frequency operation of external power MOSFETs with 4nF of gate capacitance. The CPC1596 can be used at up to 110°C.
