In collaboration with certification entity NC3 and industry partners, Festo Didactic is pleased to announce that it co-hosted an interactive shared learning experience at ACTE CareerTech VISION 2022. The NC3 Classroom utilized the shared space among partners to provide a 360-degree introduction to Industry 4.0 education and training.

Georgian and Magna International Inc. officially opened the Magna Mechatronics Lab at the Barrie Campus on June 23. Waterloo Wins Backing for Training in 2D Materials

 

Recently, a key puzzle piece fell into place with the announcement of $1.65 million in federal funding for a joint training program involving the University of Waterloo and partners in Germany. Support from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) gives the green light to a nine-year initiative to train dozens of graduate students and help bring promising new two-dimensional materials out of the laboratory and into the marketplace.
