TE Connectivity will jointly develop with the Phoenix Contact new Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) M12 hybrid connectivity. The M12 connectors align with the hybrid format specified by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 63171-7 standard, which the IEC initiated under the guidance of TE in early 2021.

Endress+Hauser Canada has erected one of the country’s “greenest” commercial buildings for 20 million euros. The recently opened customer experience and process training center in Burlington, Ontario, roughly 50 kilometers southwest of Toronto, is energy-autonomous and CO2 neutral. The 4,400-square-meter facility – twice the size of the current location – houses a process training center, a large calibration lab, repair facility, training center and state-of-the-art office and recreational space for around 120 people.

Algoma Steel Group Inc. a leading Canadian producer of hot and cold rolled steel sheet and plate products, recently announced that it has awarded the structural building contract for its electric arc steelmaking facility (“EAF”) to Hamilton, ON-based Walters Group Inc.
